I was working graveyard shift when I was pumping. Not always Dick just kidding go Fuck shirt. I remember schooling a medical resident on pumping breast milk during work. Every workplace needs an appropriate place where you can pump. It should just be provided. Hard enough for mums to work. I’m sure that this would never be a problem in NZ. It would be accommodated. Love this. I exclusively breastfed both my daughters until they were 1. I also went back to work full time when they were both 9 weeks old. There is something seriously wrong with our system. I went through the same challenges this mama went through, and then some. Now that my youngest is 4 and I have the advantage of hindsight, I realize with full clarity that time in my life was both the hardest and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. Cheers to all you Scary Mommy’s out there.
